Pregnancy update
Well... I am still pregnant! Thurs I had my 39 week appt. I was discouraged to discover I had not progressed at all in the past two weeks despite all my contractions and sleepless nights. Still 2-3 cm, 80% effaced and -1 station. I have the most contractions at night, but they are spread apart by a couple hours, so I get waken up but can go back to sleep. However, I don't feel very rested in the morning. My induction date is set for this Weds. Hope to have a baby before going through that, but know that the end is in sight so that helps. I appreciate all your prayers! I am not as worried about labor because I have done it before, but at the same time I know what it's like and keep dreading it and thinking, "I am not up for this!". I feel much more tired this time around. I'm still debating whether to get an epidural for pain. Sometimes I think I can go without since that's what I did last time and other times I think, "Get me one now!" Ha ha. Anyway, we are looking forward to meeting our little boy in the next 4 days!

Oh my goodness, I did NOT want to hear this. Poor thing. Sounds a lot like mine at this point too except for the fact that I still have 13 days until due date, ugh. I will be praying for you and hoping something happens SOON. Thank goodness there is an end in site. I'm sure it will all be worth it once your little boy arrives.
BTW- I feel EXACTLY the same way about the epidural at this point. :)
Hang in there, honey - you are almost done! I remember feeling pretty desperate at the end too - labor just cannot come soon enough, I know! I'll be praying, for you (and Kari too!), and for your precious little ones. It will be such a special day, the day they arrive - can't wait to hear your news!
And having gone through labor both ways (with and without an epidural), I will just say, you can do it either way, girl! :)
Thinking of you and knowing yu will make the right desision for your little fam. You'll be very much in my prayers. Love you!
well goodness! little baby boy wants to stay in the womb where it's nice and cozy. haha. :) i hope everything goes well. i haven't done childbirth yet so i have no answers, suggestions, or advice for any of your questions. :) love ya.
We are praying for you Anna! I had Joel and Jacob completely natural (they both came pretty quick...8 hours and 4 hours)but ended up getting an epidural with Wyatt after 9 hours of labor and them telling me I had to have pitocin because I was stuck at 4and not progressing. It allowed me to rest through the rest of my labor and when it came time to push I was ready to go! It was a really hard decision after having the older two naturally, but I'm glad I did it because I was rested enough to be able to really enjoy Wyatt's final arrival!
Can't wait to hear the great news and see pictures! Love to you all!
hope it is soon for you! and i hope to visit you in the hospital. praying for you.
