Bryson is TWO years old!

We had a simple celebration with the grandparents and a "fire fighter" theme. Here is B with his favorite new firetruck from Nathan and Ruth!
Opening presents with dad's help...

Cake and ice cream!

My first attempt at a shape cake. It's supposed to be a firetruck!

I am also within two weeks of my due date and feeling it! We actually took a quick trip to Labor Day family camp at Turkey Hill this weekend. It was fun to see people, but wore me (and Bryson) out a little more than expected, so we came back early on Sun night. We didn't want to push our luck either, being this close to my due date. At my last appt everything looked fine, and I am 2-3 cm. The baby dropped a week ago, so that definitely added to my discomfort, but I am of the belief that you have to become really miserable before you finally go into labor so I am well on my way! My doctor does not want me to go past 40 weeks, so we are hoping and praying for a baby withing the next two so I can go into labor naturally.

What a big brother Bryson will be for his new little brother. Praying for you in these final days of pregnancy. It's hard to believe it's almost over.

Happy late Birthday to little B!
I'm so glad he likes the present! It took me a long time to figure out what to get, but ended up going with the firetruck, since I remembered you saying he loves them.

I can't believe you are so close to having your baby!! So excited for you!
