Family update

Here's a picture of our local farmers market for Harvest time! It's filled with fresh fruits and veggies, goodies, crafts, pumpkins of all sorts and even a playground for the kids. So fun! Here's a couple recent pics of our little man.I'm helping with snacks at AWANA this year, and this was my latest donation. (Also, you can get a glimpse of our countertops.)

They are chocolate chip cookies...yum! I make them with pecans and real butter. They are highly addictive! Here's the recipe if anyone is interested:
Chocolate chip cookies
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup butter
1 tea vanilla
1 large egg
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tea baking soda
1/2 tea salt
1 cup pecans
1 bag (12 oz) semisweet choc chips
Heat oven to 375. Beat sugars, vanilla, butter and egg in large bowl. Stir in flour, soda and salt. Stir in nuts and choc chips. Drop onto cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake 8-10 minutes or until light brown (centers will be soft). Cool 1-2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
