Baby Nursery!

View of changing table and crib.
Wall color is Ralph Lauren "Artist Brown". Picture my mom painted of a sea theme.
Detail of sailboats on the curtain.
Detail of sailboats on pillow made by a lady at church.
Curtain (I still have to finish the side panels, you can see the fabric on the back of the crib). The bedding is blue gingham from Seed Sprouts line at Wal-mart.
Changing table with matching gingham cover and quilt made by my Grandma H. of "Hey Diddle Diddle".

I felt like I was going out on a limb with the dark chocolate wall color, as some people told me it would be dark and depressing. However, I think it is a rich color and goes well with the blue. What do you all think? The crib skirt and curtain are from Pottery Barn kids "Baby boats" line. I was glad I could complete the set with the Wal-mart bedding and accessories which were more economical. The furniture was a great buy off Craigs list (it's like an online local classified) that we got several months ago and I didn't realize what a good deal it was until I started looking more and realized how expensive baby furniture can be! We were blessed to find it and hope to use it for several years (the crib is convertible to a child's bed). We are just waiting for our little boy to arrive and make the room complete!

It's lovely. Very modern classic baby.

Get those curtains done! I had a bumper panel to finish before Elisa was born and, well, it just never happenned!

Looks good! I like the chocolate, way to be brave! :) I just painted my parents half bath a shade similar to that.
If you don't get those curtains done, you can always put your mom to work on them when she comes to visit! :)
