Grady

I thought if I wrote about the dog, you'd read this update. Grady's doing well but is growing into a good sized dog. He knows down, sit and is learning stay. He's a challenge to take a walk with if he wants to act up, but he will play fetch until he's absolutely worn out.

I'm on a surgery rotation right now. The hours are a stretch and a couple of the personalities are as well. Today I saw part of an Ivor-Lewis (esophagectomy) and tomorrow we have a Whipple (to remove cancer at the head of the pancreas). I don't get to actually do much in the OR, but hopefully that will change as I review material, learn new things and gain new skills.

Anna's feeling some better w/ less morning sickness, but still has occasional difficulties and feels more fatigued than usual. We find out the gender of the baby soon. We're excited.
