update2

Yesterday, I was post-call from the hospital and Anna had the day off, so we had a great day together. We rode bikes at the big park east of town, then stopped for some great ice cream, and finished the afternoon with a romantic comedy. What a great day.

With regards to the parenting books, really anything because, Lord willing, we'll need to know it all - baby, toddler, preschool, child, adolescent, teen, adult. Okay, maybe I'll just read about the first three or four stages right now.

Man Caleb you sound gung-ho on this reading thing. I honestly don't think Nate has read anything yet! But good for you...the more you read the more you can help Anna out. These are the books that I have read or am reading...
What to Expect the First Year
Baby Wise
Your Baby's First Year
The Complete Book of BF
Baby 411

If you read my post a while ago Baby Wise is controversial but it still does have some good things to say. The rest are all good. Baby 411 Pat just bought for me and has probably the most complete range of knowledge for the first year. I obviously haven't read anything beyond first year material.
So, anyways, hopefully that helps. Too bad you don't live closer so we could just pass books back and forth!
Have a great weekend!
