Melting in Memphis

It is hot around here!! Rain has been sparse and all the vegetation is showing it. We need water.

Here's a photo from when I went camping with a couple of fellas from school a few weeks ago. We went to Meeman-Shelby State Forrest. It's the closest get-away spot.

The camera had a two second timer so that's why I look a bit unsettled in my feet.

Work is busy for Anna - lots of people are on vacation, so she's trying to help by covering additional shifts. It is good, but it makes her week shorter and more tiring.

We played host this weekend to my brother and his girlfriend from DC. They are a fun couple. They were in town for a wedding and we enjoyed getting to spend some time with them.
