We went to Josh and Angie Hughes wedding reception in Birmingham this weekend. It was good to see them and some friends from times long ago at Horton Haven. We also met some new friends - the Wortman family. Good folks. We enjoyed being in the hills around Birmingham and especially the Leeds area. It may move up on the list of potential residency locations.
We're glad to be home, but tired. Anna actually got excited about seeing signs for Memphis and referred to it as "home". What change a year can bring!
Elvis will be get more time in the spotlight on Friday when the Prime Minister of Japan and President Bush visit Graceland. Maybe they'll "see the ghost of Elvis down on Union Avenue..."
Now sleeping in Memphis, to all a good night.
