Yard Dig (cont.)

You can see the old pipes- had broken in 3 places from tree roots getting inside. Thankfully they were able to avoid the planter around the tree that dad and Caleb laid last fall.
New PVC pipe is root resistant!
Bryson didn't seem to mind all the commotion.
Hmm, we'll have to work with this!

Looks like our soil is nicely airrated for new seed, right?! I guess we will be getting a new lawn, maybe sod. I am thankful that we have this problem completely resolved before putting our house on the market in a couple months. We can sell the house knowing the plumbing is new and guaranteed to work! (There is not an Emergency Medicine residency here so we will definitely be moving this spring, but more on that later.)

Sod will look beautiful! Is the temperature high enough now for you to be able to plant?

My! They really brought in the big equipment for the dig. Bryson's sleeping picture is cute. Love, Grandma Pat

Wow, looks like a mess, but they seemed to have cleaned it up well. Thanks for sharing the pics...now we all know what a cesspool looks like! :)

Anna, we just had to do the exact same thing! We can totally relate. Apparently it's a phenomenon going around right now with all of our older houses. Ah the joys of home ownership!
