We're safe

Monday in Memphis we had a fierce line of thunderstorms rip through the city and dump some rain in a deluge that won't be soon forgotten by us.

Thankfully this big limb from one of the maple trees on our property line did not do much damage. After I cut some of the big limbs up with a way-too-flimsy saw, I was able to throw it off of the roof. After that, I had a friend who came and helped me cut the rest of it up and haul it to the street for the city to collect. We are thankful to the Lord to be safe and sound with no more damage than a broken table leg and a bent gutter.
