Resurrection Day

HE IS RISEN. Happy Resurrection Day.

We just returned for a whirlwind week of 1200 miles and a lot of activity. Monday, we drove to Missouri and met Anna's parents - as well as Nate, Ruth and Austin - for a couple of days vacation since I was on Spring Break. We enjoyed spending time with them on Table Rock Lake and really enjoyed seeing our little nephew. From there, on Wednesday, we drove across Missouri, into Illinois, down through Kentucky and into middle Tennessee. My mom had surgery for breast cancer on Thursday. Her lymph nodes were negative (thank the Lord!!!) so she's stage I, but she'll likely still have chemo. She came home from the hospital yesterday and we drove back to west TN last evening. Then, this morning, we were at church early for a Resurrection Breakfast...and we have to catch up on everything because work and school begin tomorrow.
What a week....but on the lighter side, we're excited about the baby. We don't have a boy name yet because we thought we were having a girl! We'll have to deliberate on this one...

Here's a couple more photos of the dog - he's SO GLAD we're back from our trip. He just went nuts last night - jumping up and down, running and slobbering - when we came home.

Glad the surgery went well, we were praying (and still are) so much.
