I always thought they should make a movie about the book of Esther, and someone finally did! It's an independent film called "One Night with the King" currently out in theaters, so look for it! We enjoyed watching it, then had fun coming home and reading over Esther to see how close it was to the Bible. They did a good job of keeping to the text. You can see the trailer at:

The trailer looks really good. I haven't even heard of the movie and they said it was released October 13th! I just looked up our theaters and only one is showing that movie...we will have to try to fit it in before Austin comes!
Actually looks pretty decent --which surprised me, since it was produced by the same company (www.x8.com) that did "The Omega Code" and "Meddigo."
In February of next year (02.23.07 to be exact), there will be another story on the silver screen of a hero who worked with the leaders of government to save a people - William Wilberforce, who worked to abolish the slave trade in England. The names, dates, cultures, and causes were different, but their call was similiar. Interested? Learn more (and buy tickets!) at:
