This past weekend, Caleb was at the hospital "on call" from Sat am to Sun afternoon, so I decided to go to Little Rock to see Lorraine rather than spend another lonely night by myself. Little Rock is just 2 hours from Memphis, so it was an easy weekend trip for me. Lorraine has a cute house which she has completely redone, (with the help of lots of the chapel guys), and it looks great. We enjoyed spending time together just catching up on life.
On Sunday, I got to see Michelle and Scott at church. She is very excited and busy planning her wedding! She thought she would tackle the guest list and decide on bridesmaid dresses on Sunday afternoon. Go Michelle!
John and Kari had just gotten back from vacation, so I didn't see them. John (Sr) spoke at the meeting on Ps 33, encouraging us to trust the Lord's sovereignty because He is good and merciful, even if we don't understand everything that happens.
When I got back Sun afternoon, Caleb was already home, and made dinner for me! It was interesting, but good. He called it one of his bachelor meals!
Finally, congratulations to Travis Tucker on getting engaged!

What!!!!? Who did Travis get engaged to? We love Travis, he's a great guy!
That's nice you got to spend some time in L.R. I'm sure everyone appreciated seeing you.
Sounds like you had a great weekend! It is good to take advantage of the time when our husbands are gone and use it for the encouragement of not only ourselves but others around us.
Congrats to Travis too...I hadn't heard that. When is he getting married?
Yes, we all want to know. Actually, I think I heard something about this from Ken Miller awhile back when it was still "in the works". Congrats Travis!
Travis has to go overseas to Bagdad for a year, then they will get married when he gets back. I guess he decided to go ahead and pop the question before he left. Her name is Diane- Lorraine got to meet them when she was in Texas. She's from IL,and has been at Vessels (don't know a last name). She conservative and sweet per Lorriane! We're excited for them!
